The Challenge
Magento 2 Ecommerce Platform Rebuild
The platform needed to compete in a highly competitive beauty market
while supporting a growing product catalogue, supplier integrations,
organic search visibility and a smooth shopping experience across
desktop and mobile.
What I worked on
I rebuilt and evolved the storefront using Magento 2, focusing on
responsive UX, mobile navigation and a clearer product and category
architecture.
Behind the storefront, I developed custom product import processes,
supplier API integrations and automated stock and pricing updates,
reducing the amount of manual catalogue management required.
I also introduced automated product image processing, SEO-focused
brand and landing pages, technical URL migration planning and
structured product content.
Building a Scalable Ecommerce Platform
I rebuilt and evolved Beauty Bop into a modern Magento 2 ecommerce platform designed around performance, usability and organic growth. The project included a responsive storefront, improved product and brand discovery, SEO-focused landing pages and a streamlined mobile shopping experience.
Beyond the frontend, I developed custom Magento functionality to automate supplier product imports, stock synchronisation, pricing updates and product image processing. This reduced repetitive catalogue management and created a more scalable foundation for growing the business.
The platform was also restructured with SEO in mind, including improved brand and category architecture, product content, internal linking and technical optimisation to help search engines better understand and discover the catalogue.
