The Challenge
Supporting A High-Traffic Events Platform
The National Wedding Show website played a critical role in promoting live events, driving ticket sales and generating exhibitor leads throughout the year.
The challenge was delivering ongoing website enhancements, campaign landing pages and content updates while ensuring a seamless user experience for thousands of visitors planning their wedding journey. Development work needed to support marketing activity, exhibitor promotions and event launches without impacting website performance or conversion paths.

The Solution
How I approached the project
Once I had a full replicated server setup i created a version control system so I was able to track all files and decided to use git and github to deploy files. The staging and production environments were setup using AWS servers, working with RedStar server management I was able to setup a Linux server and run all commands to deploy to both staging and production. Singlehandedly, once the site was running locally with compiling all assets images, css and javascript the team was able to view the site on staging and begin testing and making changes to the pages.

The website continued to support event marketing activity through the delivery of new landing pages, promotional content and user experience improvements.
